What we do
nem brings project coordination, commercial experience and specialist capability to complex government and infrastructure programs.
Across the Pacific, we have particular experience in telecommunications infrastructure, including submarine fibre optic cable systems, cable landing stations and associated infrastructure.
Our work can include coordinating delivery partners, government agencies, technical specialists, development banks and other stakeholders across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
We also support financial and commercial management, project governance, planning and the practical coordination needed to keep complex programs moving.
Importantly, our focus extends beyond delivering infrastructure itself.
We work with clients and stakeholders to consider the broader outcomes the investment is intended to support — including local capability, employment, digital access, health services and government services.
nem has been appointed to government panels including the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific and the Whole of Australian Government Management Advisory Services panel.
One of our significant engagements has been the Project Coordination Unit role for the East Micronesia Cable Project, connecting Kiribati, Nauru and the Federated States of Micronesia.
