What we do
Interim support is often needed when someone leaves unexpectedly, a permanent appointment is taking time or an important project needs capability the existing team doesn’t have.
We start by understanding the real requirement.
That includes looking at the role, the priorities and the outcomes the business needs — rather than automatically replacing a full-time position like-for-like.
In some situations, a focused part-time engagement can achieve what is required. In others, the role needs dedicated interim leadership.
Where possible, we draw on experienced people from within the nem Partner group. If the right capability sits outside nem, we can also use our wider network to help identify suitable support.
A nem Partner remains involved throughout the engagement, helping ensure expectations, priorities and outcomes stay clear.
Where an interim role leads to a permanent appointment, the experience gained during the engagement can also help the business define the role, assess what it genuinely needs and support a smoother handover.
